Where are they now?
Whereas it is usually fairly easy to find out the previous clubs of a player,
it is much more difficult to keep track of them once they have left the club.
Browsing through the Non-League Club Directory or Rothmans Football Yearbook
sometimes reveals some details. So to help me keep the
Roll Call up-to-date, if you have any information about
past players which I haven't already got then please get in touch (E-mail:
ken@kafox.freeserve.co.uk). I will put the
latest information below, before updating the Roll Call entry. Don't restrict
yourselves to their footballing careers. If you know what job an ex-Pilgrim
is now doing then let me know.

Mark Phillips
Don't US clubs have strange names! After joining the Pilgrims from XOGGZ, Mark Phillips
returned to the US and signed up with a team called Indiana Blast after XOGGZ
decided to call it a day. He was voted "Most Valuable Player" by the fans after
scoring 9 goals in 20 games in the 1997 season. He was top scorer with 16 goals
in 1998 as he captained the team to promotion to the A-League. He has just been
selected to play for the A-League/USIL Select Team as part of the 1999 Umbro
Select All-Star Classic. On his page on the Indiana Blast
web site he says his biggest thrill in soccer was his first game for the
Pilgrims.
